UNHCR Protection Manual

This document looks at how racism is a root cause of refugees' displacement and continues to play a role during refugee displacement. It is also a factor in finding solutions, particularly return and reintegration. The document lists out a number of common issues relating to racism and discrimination that will always need to be addressed if refugees are to be treated humanely during the period of displacement and in common efforts to find durable solutions to it.
